Propagation Is by seed.

Aboriginal uses: An excellent hardwood, used to make clubs. Cones were used to give water a lemon flavor. These were available in summer and autumn. Dried and hardened older leaf spikes were used to cure warts. The wart was pierced in the center and then around all sides. The spikes were left in the wart for a few minutes: in a few weeks the wart disappeared.
