Harry Bowey runs at the back of and
alongside Carrisbrook Park.
Harry Bowey Park has facilities that
can be hired including tennis courts.
We have been there when a wedding reception
was being organized.
There are several barbeques located in a large area
and they are often being used by family groups.

Harry Bowey offer both a flatter more
central walkand a more energetic walk that
begins with a rather steep slope.
If one feels fit enough they could walk around
Harry Bowey and encompass Carrisbrook as well.


Harry Bowey has a multitude of magpies
to entertain you and other varieties of birdlife
to sing to you as you go on your way.
One day a Harry Bowey we passed some people
running up the steep hill, we glanced up to say
hello but they just pointed at their watch.
I suppose if I was to run up that slope
I would want to keep an eye on my heart count as well.
