Lakeside Walk

We call Lakeside our rainy day trail. We use this street walk on other days as well as it offer a chance for a
flatter walk into the new housing area.

There is ongoing work in the area both in the building of houses and the extensive parks alongside the walk.

Some buildings seem to take forever,
while others are up quick smart.

There are several park/playgrounds in the area
and they are often being used.

The path alongside Lakeside is really quite wideand suitable for us to walk side by side.
We chat quite freely on this walk each of us
noticing different aspects of the development.

We note with displeasure when some of the things
are vandalized. On one of our early walks
we found ourselves knocking on a resident’s door
to let them know that they had left their car headlights on.

On a particularly wet day we hid for a while in the show homes. Having bought our house some twenty five years ago it was interesting to see the improvements or not of the newer homes.

One of the things we notice is the size of the houses.
The alleyways between the houses are sometimes real trails
and not regular paths and this adds interest to the walk.

The lakeside trail can be as short as we likebut it is often forty five minutes to an hour in length.
