Trivia
Was the first actor to be cast for X-Men (2000).
Director Robert Aldrich gave advice to Davison when he was starting out as an actor. "Be a character actor. Hero or villain, character actors always work."
Although it is indicated in X2 (2003) that his character (Senator Kelly) is at least 20 years younger than Brian Cox's character (William Stryker), in real life, he is only 27 days younger.
Has appeared with Ian McKellen in four different films: Six Degrees of Separation (1993), Apt Pupil (1998), X-Men (2000) and X2 (2003). The first of these is the only one not directed by Bryan Singer.
